Some organizations change how a city looks. Graffiti HeArt changes how it feels.

At BudgetEase Bookkeeping, we’re proud to partner with an organization that has transformed overlooked spaces into something extraordinary—bringing internationally recognized artists into everyday life.

For Stamy Paul, President and Founder, it started with a simple moment. From her office window, she would watch trains pass by, covered in graffiti—raw, expressive, and full of meaning. “Wherever you go, there’s graffiti… it’s this common language across the world,” Stamy shared.

That perspective, shaped by her global travels, stayed with her. But when she tried to commission art locally, she discovered there was no clear way to connect artists to spaces. -- So she created one.

“Build this, and they will come… and give back to the community,” Stamy said of her original vision. And they did.

More Than Murals—A Movement

Today, Graffiti HeArt is more than a connector—it’s a catalyst.

Through their work, Cleveland has welcomed internationally recognized artists, transformed public spaces, and created art that lives beyond gallery walls. Their murals bring beauty into everyday moments—on commutes, bridges, and on buildings that now stop you in your tracks.

Despite being a small organization, their impact is outsized—creating cultural connection, elevating artists, and reshaping how people experience their community.

Growing Into What’s Next

As Graffiti HeArt evolves, so does its vision.

With the addition of Valerie Schumacher, the organization is stepping into its next chapter—focused not just on growth, but on building something sustainable.

Behind the scenes, that means expanding programs, securing grants, and strengthening the structure needed to support long-term impact. Because what’s next isn’t just more murals—it’s legacy. How this work continues, grows, and lives on beyond its founder is the future they’re intentionally building today.

Why Outsourced Bookkeeping Matters

With growth comes complexity—from managing grants to ensuring compliance and clarity. “It helps the board do their job… they can see the details and feel confident,” Valerie echoed the impact. That financial clarity allows the team to stay focused where it matters most—creating, connecting, and continuing to bring art to life across the city.

We love working with Graffiti HeArt because they remind us what’s possible when vision meets action. They’ve taken a moment of inspiration and turned it into something that shapes an entire community—and we’re honored to be part of that story.
