Progression Counseling Group (PCG) provides outpatient mental health and substance abuse services to individuals of all ages, with both in-person and tele-therapy available statewide in Ohio. PCG has been providing outpatient substance abuse and mental health services to individuals aged 5 and up since 2017. Recently, we expanded our offerings with PCG Clinic, a premiere training facility for counseling students nearing the completion of their Master’s program. At PCG Clinic, registered Trainees gain hands-on experience under the supervision of Independently Licensed Clinicians. Services include individual, couples, family, and group counseling at a significantly reduced rate, with the option to bill insurance or Medicaid. PCG Clinic is committed to increasing accessibility to affordable mental health and substance abuse care, particularly for those who are uninsured, underinsured, or have high-deductible plans. Our inclusive and diverse team provides compassionate, non-judgmental care in an affirming environment, ensuring everyone feels welcome and supported.
What is your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenge is that many individuals who are interested in our services have insurance, but face high unmet deductibles and out-of-pocket costs that make weekly appointments financially unattainable. At PCG Clinic, we aim to bridge this gap by providing affordable counseling services to those who are uninsured or underinsured, helping make mental health care more accessible to our community.
