When Ryan and Jeff embarked on their career paths as police officers, they were given several gadgets and equipment necessary to protect and serve. This sparked an idea to create practical, efficient gear that is durable and reliable for all officers. By collaborating with law enforcement, Zero9 Holsters was able to create duty gear items such as flashlights, body cams, radios, and magazine cases and pouches among other items that can be configured to fit on various components of uniforms.
What is your biggest challenge?
In the beginning stages of creating Zero9 Holsters, Ryan emphasized the challenges of learning how to start and maintain a business. As police officers, Ryan and Jeff used their expertise in equipment to jumpstart the process of designing, manufacturing, and selling their products. Currently, their biggest challenge is developing and hiring staff to support their ever-growing business.
