1. Cost

Can you add customers and jobs easily? Is approving the payroll easy? Demo the system. Make sure you are comfortable manipulating screens and can generate the reports you need. Are there input rules you can control if needed?
5. Contacting your Payroll Administrator
Does a person answer the phone or do you need to negotiate an automated system? Will you have one contact person?
6. Response Time
How quickly do you get answers to your questions when you are investigating the payroll provider?
